Yes, my memory got rusty. Indeed you need to replace steering rack, not DSC.

You can't flash an afs dsc with a software without afs. Or better, you can but you will have all dsc lights on and dsc not functioning but still communicating and still flashable. I've done this for testing and there is no way.

For this BMW E60 1st generation prefl car, with VIN *B151715, you must use 34516791108 RP hydraulic unit DSC for non-AFS operating!
