Hi

Can any one help me, I have retrofitted rain and light sensor to my Ibiza 2017, I've got the lights working perfectly but the rain sensor is a different issue, the wipers come on when you wet the windscreen but they don't stop, they go fast when the screen gets wetter but can't seem to sense when the rain has cleared. Faulty sensor????? I think it's coded ok but if anyone has done it could they please clarify what coding they used.

Would require a different windscreen due to thickness or construction?

Tried a different genuine sensor albeit the wrong part number for my car and the wipers go off after a few wipes, need it to rain now

Ok so I thought I would post my findings, I ordered a correct part number used rain sensor and a good quality gel pad. I know have a fully functional system, lights and wipers. I didn't realise the sensors worked differently but hey it's a learning curve
