Mini F56 upgrade from BIS to enaevo/nbt evo
Hello, i have MINI F56 MY2020 XR53 equipped with the simpliest BIS HU. The key thing about this HU that main plug is not old trusty quadlock sad It contains plug from HK amp (42 pins), so to install enaevo or nbt evo you should replace it. Has anyone come across with it?
Has anyone had installation experience?

Thanx. Didn't find anything through google. Can you share a link?
Other than that, is there any other problems with install?

RE: Mini F56 upgrade from BIS to enaevo/nbt evo
You can retrofit enaevo/nbt evo. You need to find an old quadlock, obar connector, then swap to new quadlock, you also need to make new wiring for Audio control panel

- Secure coding (NCD 2.0) fit to FA changed (Typschlussel, Serie, Region...).
- Remove component protection MGU18/21 (only case BDC replace).
- ID8.5 (SFA) conversion/ change region map.
- Virgin Kafas4, MRR, RAM used.
- Mgu patch, fsc custom match to vin, remove CP.
- Reset ISN 7DTC, 8HP for F, G serie (include EGS7).
- Write ISN MG1/MD1 with remotely.
- Carplay/Android Auto MGU with/without ATM (6AE).

RE: Mini F56 upgrade from BIS to enaevo/nbt evo
I've done it few times, quadlock is small beer. You will also need to add cables to the audio panel, and also to the ambient ring (ambient or whatever the mini fans call it). The second thing is Obar plug, if you don't want to replace the bdc then don't bother with it as it won't work with basci bdc...
Then just 4 cables to the controller and coding.

• EGS7/7DCT300 ISN RESET REMOTE •
• KaFAS4 (MID/HIGH) MRR, RAM VIRGIN REMOTE •
• NBTevo/ENTRYNAV2/MGU VIRGIN/PATCH •
• HDD -> SSD NBT/NBTevo/MGU
• CARPLAY NBTevo/EN2/MGU •
• FULL FSC PATCH/RETROFIT CIC, EN2,NBT, NBT2, MGU, •
• REMOVE CP --> NBTEVO ID4&6/Entrynav2/MGU •
UK BASED!

You are right. Its not plug&play... did it 3 times by now and its plenty of work.
And I have BIS to Quadlock-Adapter to make it a little bit easier...
OABR is not needed when your´re able to flash bench.
But in this case no Enav2 is possible! Only NBTEVO!

Why no enav2??

I’ve done 2 mini’s from bis01 to enav2 without any problem.

its impossible! You cannot activate Enav2 bench and BIS-Cars have no BDC with ENET installed...
ENET is absolutely needed to activate Enav2.... You need to change BDC first and noone pays for it...!

Enav2 is activable by bench, done many times. The last one one month ago.
