I really wish BMW published a consolidated bug fixes doc with each release so we knew what changed and if if it's worth upgrading. Something downloadable that doesn't require a subscription to access.

Unfortunately I got an error message when updating the SDP. If I interpret it correctly, I'm missing an SWE or a bootloader?? The question is why, because my last update was also 4.43.3, so everything has to be there?

Your 4.43.30 is clearly broken. Reinstall. Had no problems updating.

Could someone upload the btld_000088c4.bin.040_122_019 and the associated .BSW for me, maybe I'll be lucky and only the bootloader is missing. If it doesn't work then I'll have to unzip an old PSDZ and update it again.

I suggest you reinstall. This file is missing. Others may be wrong. So after update you will get total mess.

I did search the forum but did not find info on this.

I got a BMW iX and was planning to do the Nov 23 update via ISTA. When I was doing the calculation I got the message "Notes on retrieving the secure tokens" Download Failed try again.

Another Message
"Information on the encoding data calculation failed" There is a failure in retrieving the calculation result or a connection problem to the BMW Secure Coding Backend.

I have attached the screenshots.

I am aware that BMW has locked the ECU's on the iX. As I am planning to do the update on the iX so just wanted to ask if it's safe to ignore these warnings and proceed with the upgrade?

I have updated my BMW X5 G05 with no issues with the Nov 23 update.

You will NOT be able complete the update of your iX and it will probably be left in undriveable state if you try. Because ISTA will NOT be able to code many of your units at all.

P.S. I also do NOT agree with calling your units "locked". There is no more locking than before. Just signing keys are no longer distributed in PSdZ data.

What is the latest full package or base package we can start from? 4.43.1?
