Hello can someone help me to calibrate dashboard on passat b5.5 awx motor ,i think that my dashboard dont read real consumption.I put vagcom and consumtion on vagcom is not same on dashboard.What software i need and interfeys.

I try to put new map but the consumption is same,on idle is minimum 1.2l/h.I set time belt,replaced maf,injectors is ok.

you're right

You can set this up in adaptations,
I do not remember which channel only,
but if you use VCDS,there are hints.
You can also manually by editing EEPROM.

Can i read this number with vcds or i must take off dashboard.I try with vcds i found some post on internet but i dont have canal3 in instruments17-adaptation to change consumption.

You can read eprom by OBD,
Use cable KKL and VAG eprom programer and 1.19g or
Vag tacho or .k can commander.
and open content in a hex editor.
Fuel consumption information is in the offset 145.
Default value is 64
here you can change

very important
before any modification save the read content.

yes of course, but first save the original dump without change to disk,
And now you can change this value as you like and select Write eeprom,
after writing EEPROM
you are going to VDO and choose Reset
this is all
remember to power the car was above 12 V during this operation

if ever something went wrong you will have a good a dump

if you reduced the value,combustion will be less
and when raised combustion will be higher.
changing to 32 fis will show lower fuel consumption by half

I put 54 and now i have consumption lover,nov i need to calibrate my consumption with full tank,thanks very much.
