Hi,

I patched the following unit, using the Congo and Duke v3 Activator:

MST2_EU_VW_K0642D

The patch was successful but the unit is stuck at the "App-Connect is starting" screen.
I enabled the DIO and GAL channels and MirrorLink as well. The USB port is coded to support Apple.

Any ideas?

3Q0 035 819 and 820 doesn't support App Connect, you have to convert it from STD2 to STD2Plus.

Is there an article how to convert it to std2plus anywhere?

It won't work, 819/820 are low spec units. Some say they can activate it/convert these basic Std units to StdPlus, but even when you succeed somehow, the unit will be restarting every few minutes as it will be low on resources.
Throw your 820 unit to the trash and replace with 842 where you can activate anything and this will work without any issues.

819B can be converted to PLUS just fine. Done many, only problem is that SW is expecting unit to have RVC and there will be constant errors in log for no comms with the missing chip. Chip and related components can be added to have fully working unit with RVC.
