FSC deactivated
Hi,
The FSC status for servotronic in the eps shows as deactivated. Is there a way to reactivate it again? Repair kit? Or the only solution is to buy a new FSC? Thank for the help |

You should really explain WHY it is deactivated to answer this question. And if it's due to replacement EPS then MORE information like what car production date and date of certificate in EPS will be required!

The repair fsc is the same date as the production date of the car. Reading esys manual, update fsc seems to check and activate fsc. Though have seen people say not to use it. |

IMHO if it was just deactivated then you should just check and activate it in expert mode, but I've never done such stupid thing

I think for update you also need to specify fsc file name which will be uploaded... But I may be wrong.
P.S. ok, that is what "upgrade" does, so update may only be activating it after all P.P.S. Regarding how to deactivate please provide what chassis are we talking about. |
