Update
Finished downgrading to 9972 software and removing the flow straightener. I made it using Odis Engineering 17.0.1 and VNCI 6154. Perfect at first attempt. It took about 4 minutes to do the ECU flash. After flashing there were some faults in Brakes, Steering and some control units, but cleared them and now are all gone. I supose this is normal after the ECU flash. A quick test of the car after the work was finished and wow! The car is different. Idle sounds better. It has torque at low rpms again. It's like a different car. Wife should be happier now!
