Hello all, I'm dealing with a BMW that has no communication with the DME(ECU). I've checked relay and fuses all good. Last I removed the ECU and the connectors were dripping (poor cable management of the guys that have installed LPG). Cleaned the pins and the connectors with no success. My next move is to change the ECU, but the label mine says Bosch number: 0261 209 006  BMW # DME 7523 838 can I use a different one with the same Bosch number but different  DME x xxx xxx, assuming that I will try to do clone on the old one to the "new" one.

Thank you, I did the swap BDM read and write to the new one and all is working now.
