BMW E91 CIC FSC request
Hi,

Just trying to replace a faulty CIC with donor on E91 2008.
Original unit continuously reboots in BMW logo. Some specialist tried to fix original unit, but with no success, so money wasted already.
I have all connected on the bench now and as original unit isn`t visible anymore (INPA doesn`t see ori CIC in UIF at all), so probably there is no way to retrieve original FSC plus I believe the donor unit is younger anyway, so ori fsc wouldn`t work. As I understand I have to get a FSC pack and load to the donor using FStool or similar?
If anyone could generate FSC codes for me please:
donor unit 9 222 862
VIN: WBAPR92090A180978
All I did so far default coded the donor CIC and I can see the short VIN in UIF has changed to original.
Do I still need to change long VIN as well?
Can someone advise me the how to correctly finish this replacement please as I don`t have much experience with CIC.

If that VIN has original nav, then you can just virginize replacement unit, get FSC repair pack and be done with it.

As per ViN decoder the car came from the factory with $609, dab, voice, etc. So I believe it wasn't retrofitted. Replacing with exactly same part number.
P.S. is it possible to get original fsc from the faulty unit somehow. It keeps rebooting in bmw logo, so doesnt load properly.

this CIC unit has been sorted long time ago as its quite old post, but thanks anyway for the help and of course thx+rep has been added. if you don`t mind I`ll contact you privately next time I need fsc certificates again.
