I'm looking to resolve a really strange problem. 
E91,2006, M47, my colleague's car. 

Ignition on, check light off.  
Only problem we have existent on DDE: control unit, internal 4. 
Car is driving without problems , but wonder what cause that has check light off? 
I wrote .man empty on kombi , still check light off. 
Updated DDE with winkfp, light still off.

When we go in secret menu and test kombi, check light is on.. 
What could be the problem here?

Diagnose with ISTA, look for errors, clear and if it returns calculate a measures plan …

did already, it said to replace ecu. for the error we have: control unit , internal 4 

it is really strange, because normal if a fault exist on dde, it should be check light on / not off  

thats why i put .man empty on kombi, i thought is coded out the light.

What is the error code in ISTA?

If check light not on I wouldn’t be too worried as long as the car runs ok and fuel consumption good, these cars are getting on in age now and sometimes it’s not worth the expense of fixing every single fault.

When someone has played with the ECU like chiptuning and its not proper put back the original software you can have issieus.

My advice try to update the software of the DME ECU and check again, try also to delete adaptations
