customer brings his car f10 lci - has replaced windscreen by independent company, but since that, he don't have SLI and also high beam assistant.
i check kafas kamera and has not firm metal cover, so i try order some random camera from 2nd hand. Dismanle camera and find out, flex ribbon is broken on 2 places

get camera, try to install it, but it is slightly longer (maye 2mm), little bit different design, than i fidn out, it came from f46.
1, first error i had was - kafas camera vin does not match, i never know about this security feature, not able to find any tool32 function to sync vin, clear it in camera or so, but there is "short vin" option in kafas ECU in hex format, so i've changed it to donor vin, so, this issue was fixed

2, error i have - "Kafas 800abc kafas: camera does not match vehicle type" - try to code car specification from f10 to f45, another option was f56 and also "all other" but still has this error

does anybody were successful with matching camera to ecu from different models, different vin?

long vin and fsc were still from f10, and accepted status and everything looks ok there

You need to buy correct camera type for F10 car. Coding another type is not functional.

yeah, this is something i find out as most probably solution

thinking also about generating VO from f45 donor and recode kafas ECU with it, but most possible will not work
