Some Cars I need to write data set parametrization on BCM. Since I dont work with VCP I wanted to ask if its possible to get the dataset/parametrization of a car which is already equipped with the it and write it on another car if its same hw by ODIS? Or is there any service to get access to the needed data sets?

There was once a service called Service-Geko, but it is gone. They entered something called RepairHints on VW CPN Network. I had to give VIN, software partnumber, hardware partnumber, software version and also hardware rev like H12 and I got a tar file, where also the XML parameters for ODIS-E were inside. With ODISExplorer App i could change the parameters file, to enable additional features, like trunk closing from keyfob from like 50 meters away.

So if someone have access to vw cpn network, maybe it is possible to enter the repair hints or repair advice.

i got three files:
GetAdjustCalibrationData.xml
GetParametrizeData.xml
GetRepairAdvice.xml

//Edit - i found a site called vw-geko (will not give the link search with google) it gives also a ODIS XML Parametrization Files Generator and charges 10 EUR a file.

vwcarhelp has a section for XML Parameters Files but I’m not sure how to use it. It also asks for part number, SW number, HW number etc, but it gives a failed .xml when I try.

Maybe someone who knows how to use it can get it to work.
