XSMini  Mini R56 engine and ECU swap
I have a problem with Mini R56 that I got. Can someone correct me or explain me the correct procedure for this scenario:

Original, Mini had N14B16 engine on MED17.2 DME. Someone before me changed whole engine (to newer N18B16), engine electrics and put new DME MEVD17.2.7. Electrics and modules inside the car (CAS, FRM, ...) are the same - original ones.

Car didn't start at all, immo-off solutions that I tried weren't working. That part is solved (thanks to kind help of member @krug). Krug transfered ISN from MED17.2 EEPROM dump to MEVD17.2.7. EEPROM dump. I re-flashed EEPROM on MEVD17.2.7. and car now starts every time.

Next problem is that car runs rough and it's not reacting to throttle. FSC codes maybe? VIN coding?
I tried to flash DME with WinKFP, but couldn't find corresponding ZUSB number in WinKFP. Also when I try to read VA with NCS-Expert I get error every time and VA can't be read from CAS nor FRM. Also, NCS can't "see" DME, only CAS, FRM and KOMBI.

Original VIN: TS13132
N18B16 VIN: WL98547
ZUSB of MEVD17.2.7. DME: 8606516

Hi , i have done this job 5 years ago, i remember i have modify the wiring from car to ecu.
did you have DTC?

I can post full DTC scan later. There is some DTC's regarding automatic gearbox (it seems that donor Mini had N18B16 paired with auto transmission and the original one is manual) and I think DTC for tampering ECU.

Maybe it contains JCW software? The normal N18 doesn't need FSC codes.
I would suggest flashing the ZB-nr for N18 manual.
Indeed the power supply from the car is different, but if the engine runs it means that this has already been taken care of I guess.

That is correct, car starts every time without any problems. But it runs rough and when you press accelerator pedal nothing happens.
About the JCW idea: that is correct because original DME flash software is identical to JCW GP2 218HP software (compared in WinOLS). The problem is that I can not find flash file for JCW GP2 without automatic gearbox. Also I don't know what would be correct ZB-number for JCW GP2 with manual gearbox.
What's even more weird current ZB-number of DME is not listed in WinKFP (I have latest SP-daten v71)

You can't flash JCW software, it needs an FSC code. You should flash normal N18 Cooper S software.
After flashing Cooper S software, you can tune it for a JCW with WinOLS i suppose.

JCW GP2 needs an FSC code. daMassa needs to flash normal Cooper S software so that it works with his unmodified CAS. I don't have time to look up what ZB-nr that is.
But I suppose he has given up anyway since he is silent.

I can do the FSC codes for the DME.
I just need the dump and i wil supply the needed fsc.
but from what i know JCW hw is different than S, try to get the hw number of the dme to check, when u try to flash, it won't flash even in expert, its different.
I would recheck the donor vin for DME HW, then double check the most correct zusb, flash it, then check fsc status by gini or fsc tool.
