Car is Opel Corsa 2001 with two airbags
Everything worked ok, till some day airbag light shown up on intrument cluster. I tried to connect to airbag module but without success. Finalny i tried to connect to it directly thorough pins, but also without success. I think it's dead. I want to replace it. Can i buy used one ? I know it need to be same model, configured for two airbags, is that all? I have only opcom interace and universal interface. |

RE: Opel Corsa dead airbag unit?
Check the voltage supply and earth for module, and all is ok,check the pcb for corrosion.Yes you can use other one with same hardwarenumber, read the eeprom file and upload for other. When you find same config module just the VIN number dont match when you read the identification numbers

RE: Opel Corsa dead airbag unit?
You have MC68HC08AZ32 chip, try this read for look what is inside. With X-prog,etl programmer or carprog can do that. When you choose the donor unit,it must be same configurated

RE: Opel Corsa dead airbag unit?
Thanks for answer. Currently i don't have xprog or carprog.
I have found corsa with same configuration: two airbags, two seat belt tensioners. If unit form this car has same GM number, is it enough to work in my car? |

RE: Opel Corsa dead airbag unit
With multimeter check you the power supply in car?when yes, take one 12v/21 watt bulb and check with this.In attachment sended the wiring, but you have the correct pinout. With OPcom must be worked on bench
