Hi,
got Audi A6 2016 2.0TDI with S tronic transmission(0CK).
With ignition on or engine running can hear buzz noise from shifter solenoid. After brake pressed, noise disappeared, but come again when shifter in R or D position. The car starts, drives normal, but got message on the instruments and faults about shifter.

20784 - Selector Lever P0914 00 [040] - Electrical Malfunction
20788 - Gate Select Position Circuit for Tiptronic (F189) P0904 00 [046] - Electrical Malfunction
20790 - Gear Shift Lock Solenoid Control Circuit P0930 00 [040] - Low

Have checked wiring, replaced shifter with solenoid and s tronic control module inside gearbox.
Still the same issue.
What the magic?

Thanks mate, I got it.
Problem still exist. There even are 2 cars with the same problem.

Checked wiring how? Just continuity test?

If it's purely electrical hum - you need to check supply voltage to coil with oscilloscope.
Either there is some wire damage, which sends some voltage to the coil when there should be zero, or some other contact in the brake pedal circuit is sticking or chattering. (you have possibly wasted money with triggering your parts cannon)

If you are not familiar with electrical diagnostics - it's easier to show car to some experienced electrician.

To the solenoid from TCM unit coming -12V square 50% PWM signal 50Hz. Feeding is stable +12V from fuse.
All 3 wires from TCM to selector was tested with 55W testing bulb. As well resistances to + and GND.
Parking position magnetic contacts(hercons) in the selector works good, P is 470 Ohm.
Brake signal works fine to all included modules ECU, TCM, BCM2.

There was tried different versions of software for TCM and ECU, did not helped.

I wish this thread will be read the guy, who have had exactly the same trouble.
