Hello,

Is there any chance to manually change/override VIN number in A5 camera settings?
Temp. testing another camera from another car (same model).

0768 - No Basic Setting
B2010 00 [00001001] - -

I once have done with vas5054 odis. But you need too calibration stand for get working camera after when you change vin

Thought that I can somehow avoid the calibration and just change the VIN.
Don't have own calibration stand :/

With Odis

Choose A5
Change session to Developer mode
Login with 89687

Go to adapatations
Change the initial calibration results, just even changing 1 number is fine.

So VIN be automatically adapted from second car without loosing previous calibration or full calibration needs to be done anyway ?

The gent was pretty clear. A calibration number change will make the A5 get the vehicle VIN and write it in the eeprom.
