BMW_ISPI_ICOM-Next-FW_04-23-22

Hi to all,
I have updated my ICOM A1 with this FW 03.23.22 today, but I noticed after the update that the system LEDs first flash red, then green and then red together with the green Lan LEDs.
I carried out the HW test from the Actia browser, it gave me FAN failure and Wlan failure (Wlan is not present in my icom and normal the test failed), I don't remember if I had the same fan problem before but I don't think so.
I confirm that the fan runs without problems but I have this error.
Has anyone else encountered the same problem??
If not, there's a solution or is this normal?
thks to all.

I've upgraded the ICOM A2 clone, successfully and looks fine.

Perceivable change is you can setup a time server and there's a new IFH protocol.

There is a small bug that I don’t know if it existed before: using ITool Radar to reserve ICOM, cannot be released in the ICOM configuration page(would throw an error). vice versa. I don’t remember if this was the same before, you can test it.

Hi,
just an question about your Icom A2 clone, I have the same Icom clone but after update with v.3.23.22 system led during boot green and after boot finish became red fashing and still like this, I have tried to connect to the car and work fine even the led flash red.
Now, I did the HW test and I encountered the fan fail but in reality the fan works. I opened the icom and the fan only has 2 wires and not 3 so it's not a tacho fan, my doubt is whether the flashing of the red system LED is not the problem of the non-tachometric fan and the red LED is a warning that the tacho does not function.

Someone have more info?? or someone have icom manual to see errors??

thanks in advance

RE: BMW_ISPI_ICOM-FW_03-23-22 & ICOM-Next-FW_04-23-22
ICOM periodically tests the fan and if there is no speed signal, it registers an error. The error can only be reset by connecting a fan with three wires. The new firmware version does not clear errors.

Of course it's about ICOM's internal faults. It can clear car's fault just FINE.
