XZBMW  ATM telematic unit (no retrofit) IP:0.0.0.0, no data to HU
Hi, I'd really like to ask your advice. I bought a car in which the navigation system is not working. There is no retrofit HU - unit i ATM is original . With BMW I have checked the IMEI which they have in the database and it matches with what is on the label and shows it on the diagnostics. Today I borrowed from a friend his ATM unit. After connecting the GPS in the navigation it started working.
I checked the IP configuration of the ATM. The friend's unit had an address of 169.254.57.200. mask 255.255.0.0. My unit had an address of 0.0.0.0 and a mask of 255.255.255.0 . Is there any way to adjust the address? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance for any advice.
