Even with VAT and UK company registration number, I tried to apply but BMW rejected AOS application straight away because they said I wasn't a car related business and if I was, I had to re-apply and attach proof at the same time

Don't know about UK, but is it really that hard to update company registration by adding some economic activity related to cars? It is very easy here.

You can try on a bmw online shop like hubauer-shop.
