Hi,
i try to connect the Xentry Diagnosis VCI to the Xentry Truck 12 2023.
But i got some wire informatin. Connecting is finish after 1 sec. after firmware is to old and later firmware is ok.
Somebody use the VCI with the Trucksoftware?

01/25/2024 - Important notes on the new VCI firmware for Daimler Truck Diagnostics
Additional Information
For Daimler Truck Diagnostics, a new firmware (version 1940) for the VCI will be available with immediate effect.

The firmware update will take place in three waves. The first wave will be available for Daimler Truck Diagnostics Kit 1, the second - for VCI platform-independent systems, and the last, from February 5, the transferred XENTRY Diagnostic Kit 3 and 4.
The update is required to continue working with VCI.

Note:
This firmware update installs a "marker" in the VCI that configures the VCI as a Daimler Truck VCI. Thus, if you install the Daimer Truck Diagnostics VCI firmware on the XENTRY VCI:

IMPORTANT: After this, no further diagnostics of the car and van can be carried out

Restoring XENTRY VCI firmware is technically impossible! Once the update is installed, the VCI can no longer be reverted to the XENTRY Diagnostics firmware.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that only those VCIs that will be used for Daimler Truck diagnostics in the future receive the firmware update.

If you do not work exclusively with trucks or have a VCI dedicated just for them, the best option is to use SD Connect (once xentry has been modified)
