Cannot simulate build date #0910 on E90: Following feature is invalid for FA:
I'm trying to get ConnectedDrive enabled in my Combox/CIC retrofit on a 06/05 E90 - but get "Following feature is invalid for FA: #0910" in NCS

I CAN set #0909, though.

How would I easily troubleshoot this? Or do I have to basically take out all of the options to simulate, other than the $6xx options related to the Nav?

RE: Cannot simulate build date #0910 on E90: Following feature is invalid for FA:
For retrofits better not write the build date to cas/frm. Instead add it everytime you need to code CIC or whatever else you are doing. Use #0911 if you want $6NR BMW Apps.

Thanks, I'm not trying to write to CAS/FRM, I just want to use it as simulation. I can't even add it to the VO before writing (which I won't do).

Try later ZK, remove all no relevant SA and compare with an original CIC/combox VIN.
As I remember CBX was intruduced 0310 on E92/E93 and 09/10 E90/E91.

I tried looking through my FA to see if there’s anything not relevant to 0910 and it all seems ok. I do have a “IALT” K word which I’m wondering if it’s the problem, it looks to be something with the IHKA..

H IALT // Old I-Plate Installed (for control IHKA appropriate software)

Try remove all relevant options, change to #0311

Add :

#0311 worked - 0911 not, so I'm happy.
