I have a simlair problem with BDC on 2018 Mini F56. Can't proggram with esys always error and car won't start. Then I use a CGDI unit (a tool for key proggramming and more) I connect it on bech with special adapter and with this tool I succesfully downgrade the BDC. After that car start and everythig start working again.
Trying to fix BMW with ICOM, ISTA, ESYS and CDGI.

Unable to flash with autohex. Friend says the BDC is fried...Maybe with BIMTOOL or CGDI BMW it is possible.

My hopes are low for this BDC it seems to be stuck in flash mode and braindead  Today i also installed a donor BDC but after locking and unlocking the car the ELV authentication failed and car wont start anymore. I am still waiting on a replacement BDC from BMW, that should be accepted by the ELV. Stupid older F56 models have ELV. |
