RE: Power supply for coding flashing
I cannot see a button/setting for dedicated mode for just aux. supply.

It may be good for the task, but I personally would contact manufacturer first to check that this unit would not just simply shut down when it suddenly decides that battery is charged enough in the middle of flashing session..

It will be good, i use a 50a and it is exceeding the requirements, i can see a button on the left with a car open hood and a monitor, i think is diagnostic mode. Anyway as general rule, don't use supply mode with battery connected, use charge mode with 13.6 13.8V and no Current limit, this is the standard configuration of bmw deutronics and elteks...

RE: Power supply for coding flashing
70A would be fine for most vehicles. It really is vehicle dependent though. A highly optioned vehicle will easily hit 40-50A at the beginning of the flashing process. I've found they usually settle down to around 25-30A steady. Like most tools though, if you do this professionally it's much cheaper to buy the best tool versus replacing a bricked module. I use the Clore Automotive PL6100 (100A). Expensive but well worth the peace of mind. The airpress 77108 looks like a nice unit though for the money.

Thanks [Image: tyl_add.png] + [Image: postbit_reputation.gif] reputation if I helped you.

RE: Power supply for coding flashing
Anyone know a good place to buy Airpress 77108 outside Poland (in EU)?. Already got GYSFLASH 101.12 CNT, but would be nice to have a cheaper backup power supply.

And for programming you need charging, not supply.
