Hi all,

Ive got a Peugeot boxer that needs a new ecu (broken pins due to corosion)

Ive picked one up from the breakers. Read both ecus and written the original ecu files onto the replacement ecu but there is no communication with the new ecu when its installed on the vehicle.

I copied all data MPC & EEPROM. the ecu has matching numbers for the most part. (all the ones that matter)

Am i missing something? I did the procedure by boot mode with kess 3.

you can try this if you want, i had an ecu with a couple of broken pins, i got a couple of pogo pins, the kind you use for bdm adapters, i snipped a couple of mm's of the ends and inserted them in the harness plug, reconnected to ecu and the car is still running fine, that was 2 years ago, clean what's left of the broken pins first, worth a try, goodluck.

alot of pins are also affected, its a company vehicle and not worth the risk of a repair like that. 5 pins are already missing and approx 9 more are affected
