I have had issues with icom A2 will only update from web browser, not through Ista 4.46.x
Icom next won't update through Ista via wifi but has worked ok when on lan.

I have updated ICOM using ISTA 4.46.1x. Have NO idea where you find those bugs...

Hi ! seems you are only one what is update icom firmware  from ista manager from version 4.46
every Bmw dealer or independat services   have this problem with updating icom from ista manager! 
please if any other here sucessuful update icom please  send feedback thnx !!

I have done with ISTA 4.45.3x the old A2 but the NEXT I tried a few times, but then I use the web broser!

Yep. I had to use web browser for over 10 ICOMS and 10 different PC's. All because we did not update with 4.45.3x. Web browser worked fine though.

There are a few different suggested fixes in the thread, do different ones work for different people or is one particular solution the best fix?

Does just deleing the Enviroment Varible entry for C:\EDIABAS\BIN work or does it also require the ISPI\TRIC\ISTA\EDIABAS\BIN Contents copying to the C:\EDIABAS\BIN folder & overwriting the existing 7.3.0 files?

Does the native ISPI\TRIC\\ISTA\EDIABAS\BIN contents need modifying going forward?

I used the patched DLL from first page in this topic. For me ISTA is working normally, I can read the fault codes and then let ISTA opened while I am using ESYS for coding, so parallel use is working for me.

What I would like but it is not working: during ISTA opened to be able to use INPA, NCS and other tools. Maybe somone has a solution and can give me a hint...I didn´t see anything about that here in thread....

I know, that way it works. But I have used it until yet with always ista running in background.

Disconnect and connect to ista takes a lot of time...you are much faster if ista can always stay running in background

Tried replace C:\EDIABAS\BIN to 7.6 then INPA works very slow.

could you try to have ISTA+ in use on E-series....and then put it in backgroud and try to use NCS or INPA without closing connection in ISTa?
