RE: BMW i3 EME Offline
Did you check to see if the flexray ports to the EME is open?
Check status in tool32, zgw01.prg and find status_flexray_pfad EDIT: My bad, no Flexray for i3 eme, only i8 | bїшшёяFiks AS | Instagram | F20 114i - Alpine Weiss Retrofits: 609 - 6NS - 6CP - 6WA - 6NW - 674 - - |

Are your CAN resi5тдnce/power measurements done on EME connectors or? Have you looked at CAN signals with the oscilloscope???

Yes I back probed the connector directly to the EME and used a scope and found the wave forms to be typical of a high speed can network the only thing I found interesting was low side can would drop as low as .60V and high side would go as high as 4.2V which is out of specs as per BMW for PTcan and PTcan2 but found this to not be a definitive number. |

RE: BMW i3 EME Offline
Either your oscilloscope is extremely low bandwidth crap or that does not look correct AT ALL. Of course PTCAN is 500kbps, so 5ms per division is AGES (like 2500 bits, while it looks like there are like 50 pixels AT MOST per that division), so this view tells more or less nothing. To measure something meaningful you need like 50us per division...

RE: BMW i3 EME Offline
This looks much better and is OK...ish. There are these abnormal jumps in stop bit, but that may or may not be a problem.
Are these from PT-CAN or PT-CAN2? Or both? Now I vaguely remember reading/hearing somewhere about similar issue. I don't remember whether EME was completely silent in that case, but AFAIR the problem was ACSM sending active crash signals to EME preventing it from operating. And I think there were no faults in ACSM either. So maybe you can try disconnecting ACSM and see what happens? If nothing changes can you look into 15WUP with oscilloscope? Maybe it has short dropouts. Also look into ACSM signals. P.S. I assume all issues with front lights/fan/etc are because they are not there at all?
