Hi There,

I have a 2013 328i that came with an hu_entry - 6.5 inch screen and there was some issue so owner replaced it with NBT_EVO, now on the screen it says no signal.

in Esys it comes up as HU_entrynav and I am not able to factory code the unit.  I tried removing 645 and adding 609 in the VO but that did not work either.

What is the correct coding process?

Doesnt really matter, if it shows up as Entrynav its not an EVO.

For this you can just leave VO as is, maybe add 663 or 606 depending on the unit fitted, but its completely normal that it will show no signal if its not coded.

Also if its still a 6.5 screen fitted no additional coding needed, but if its an 8.8 fitted it will need fdl coding afterwards to correctly display the image.

When I put NBT_EVO display in my car with 6.5" Entrynav without coding it, the screen was black, without any text on it.

Anyway, I dont think this will solve problem, but you should code:

HU_NBT > 3000 HMI > DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = 8.8_1280x480
HU_NBT > 3001 EXBOX > DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display

You need correct display and cable:
- Display needs to have 4+2 connector.
- Cable that works with Entrynav is: 9251702.
