2012 Audi A1 MMI component security help
Heya all,
I have a client that has fitted second hand MMI unit to 2012 Audi A1. What is the procedure for component security update/coding etc?? Going to have a look tomorrow. I have VVDI2, Gen VCDS etc PS - I don't know if they still have ori unit or if it is toast Cheers |

Options:
-If you have orginal mmi: *OBD use vcp or odis and copy eeprom or part with CP *If dont have vcp and odis need desolder eeprom and work on programmer -If dont have org mmi Odis Online |

Thanks. I sent him off to the dealer. If I install ODIS, have they now got J2534 option like most other manufacturers? Or have to buy VAS6154? And could I get/buy/ or get someone to to via TV?? Cheers |

Better use older odis, and yes its easy proces.
