G20 basic LED to adaptive LED
Both headlights are replaced with the control modules. I tried to code (VO coded with 552) G20 with basic led to adaptive led. After coding only the indicators work, there are following errors:
8059A6 Daytime driving lights / side lights:Light phase voltage outside tolerance 8059DF Fault, temperature sensor: Drive direction indicator temperature value implausible 805B12 Low beam headlights: Light driver excess temperature deactivation 72789 yes 805B19 High beam: Light driver excess temperature deactivation 72789 yes 805B26 Daytime driving lights / side lights:Light phase voltage outside tolerance 805B5F Fault, temperature sensor: Drive direction indicator temperature value implausible So I assume there is an compatibility issue. Can this be resolved with coding or does parts need to be changed? No headlights/highbeams/DRL are working with these lights. Car is G20 build 07/20 |

RE: G20 basic LED to adaptive LED
Hello,
is 552 valid VO code fpr 7/20 cars? Because at 2020. laser headlight has had adapitve functions and there was no adaptive LED headlights available. Or are you doing retrofit of LCI adaptive LED headlights? Thorsten BMW OEM FSC codes for Apple CarPlay 143 and 17B, AndroidAuto 1CA, MGU and MGU21 region conversation and others

RE: G20 basic LED to adaptive LED
there is no such thing as 552 on G20, you have either 5AZ or 5A4. Highly unlikely your old modules will work.
If your modules are correct, you can code 552, it will not make faults, neither it works on this platform. NBT EVO Apple CarPlay, Navigation, Video in Motion

Maybe the issue is that I need to code them with 5A4? (30-03-2024, 13:38 PM)pcp1234 Wrote: there is no such thing as 552 on G20, you have either 5AZ or 5A4. RE: G20 basic LED to adaptive LED
Coding with 5A4 solved the issue. I got the option code 552 from G20 current pricelist, which is of course for LCI, didn't think that they had changed the option code with LCI.
