Have a question here and would like to ask it here if its ok.
That's about changing KM for CITROEN C4 PICASSO 138 2007.
Is it only the BSI chip that should be reprogrammed or the dashboard shall also be approached. I would like to know if possible in details how too.

Have carprog and tacho (clones), some other programmers like willem. Any other hardware needed?

N this case you need to do dash and BSI, need to read both, bsi have a 95160 or 95128 and dash maybe have 93c46

which device is best to read specific chip?
What next, how to change the KM, any specific software or hardware?
Shall both BSI and DASH be programmed with the same values?

Sorry for asking so many questions but I'm very fresh to this field, the devices I mentioned are borrowed and I don't want to mess anything as of the car is not mine neither, just helping some friend. Also to mention that I've been told by the owner that the tachopro doesn't read the 93c chips.

I read somewhere the tachosoft 23.1 is the required software to change the km, is that right?

Beeprog will perfectly and safely read/write both 95128 from BSI and 93c46 from dash, Nyo4 can properly calculate.
You will need to approach next steps:
remove and disassemble BSI unit, as well as dash
read current content of eeproms
calculate BSI to 0 km, dash to desired km
write new values
assemble and put BSI and dash back to the car and test

oohh..yes..last step ..grab a money from customer

Look, it is possible on the first several seconds...it will be really 0km displayed od the dash ...do not be afraid..it means 0km to service! after that you will see real km ...just let you know!
