Hi all is it possible to find out if a VIN has Software updates( ECU, TCU, BCM etc)  without asking dealer?

Yes. Search for "Opel TIS2Web" on the Internet, enter your VIN and compare provided calibration numbers with software in the vehicle (you would need to use a GDS2 software if vehicle is newer than 2010MY).

This TIS page shows only the latest software. Sometimes software in vehicle is newer that in TIS. I do not know why there can happen a mismatch.. If there is any newer SW for that module, need to connect vehicle to online programming service (payed option).
