Find Maps for MSD81 Pops and Bangs
Hi guys,
I am new to this forum and need some help. I have a BMW 330i E93 with N53 272hp Engine. I have had the control unit, MSD81, read out with kess3 via OBD. I now have the file and want to tune pops and bangs. First and foremost, I would like to tune the pops and bangs from 3000 - 3500 rpm and then I would also like to do this via AC switch. I have never had a car with a Siemens control unit before, so I have no idea how to find the maps here. I would need some help with this. It would also help me to know which addresses to change, but I would also need help on how to find them. With Bosch EDC17, 16 and 15 control units I have been taught and can find maps, but as already mentioned, not with Siemens. I have also read that the MSD81 control units have to be read by bench so that all the information is there. Is this necessary for Pops and Bangs or is OBD sufficient?
