Clip is an other trick in our diagnose bag, if we have one good quality it is not to put it on the trash can... Course DDT+derelek is better, but for us normal people Clip we keep it on the shelf, something will do it sometimes...( old Renos and something ... )
Using it for newest versions i heard a rumor that we must go to a Reno representative and get some diagnose reports for cars as we want to diagnose and our clip sw version is not enable to do . Reports for cars with VIN`s took from reno.net as a representative Clip sonde for newest cars obtains from factory by net.

And about Christmas, only tomorrow is not after tomorrow ...

Actualy the 151 has the vehicle database for x52 up to 23-06-2015 so an L52 1,2 euro6 manufactured on 07-2015 will not be seen, just the usual no mtc for this vehicle hence no can map and no changing of "things".

You can buy whatever clone you want, all are the same...in china there are few factories making those clones, it`s about your luck ...Are you a lucky guy ?
Big mistake to buy directly from china, aliexpress/alibaba... they package very weak cardboard box and most cases goods bought suffer from shipping. Buy local not china. It`s your money you don`t want to dump them away.
No matter what, buy that clone from a supplier in your country, a serious seller which assure you warranty and will change ( not repair ! ) your clip if you have problems with it. That`s the advisei give to anyone who ask this question you pose.

I have got an Original clip sonde rtl2002, and I can diagnose the car and communicate with it.
However for some reason I cannot make logfiles, because module IhmDataRecording.dll has caused an error in cliplauncher.exe. This occurs just after I have selected what parameters I want to log and pressed start.
It worked fine with older clip software versions.

Do more people have this problem with Clip 151?

I installed clip 151 on some other systems as well, all with the same result.
Everything seemed to work, but it was not possible to do any data recording.

i installed clip 152 and that version has fixed the file logging!
