I own an F34 and would like to know what software changes there are for my car with the current ISTA version.
Is there a changelog for the corresponding I-levels somewhere?
The last update was made about 2 years ago. I can't say the exact I-level at the moment.
Is an update worth it?

Yeah, for sure, there is a way - join BMW dev team and start working on a project for your car platform...

Anyway, 99,9% of the time, software updates only fix found bugs and glitches, polish and refine some processes and operations, expand support to newer HW revisions, add/remove certain DTC error codes, etc.
All car makers are interested in selling you a new vehicle, and not to improve your current one (besides obvious faults), after all...

Sometimes (very rarely) BMW publishes a summary list of owner noticeable changes/ new features added between the ilevel updates (99% of the time, these are iDrive system related).
If these are available - somebody would usually share them alongside ISTA delta update files, so you may keep a track on those posts.
