[BMWF01]

I am using a K+DCAN cable with Winkfp to program the GWS, KOMBI & DSC Modules but it failed at the last stage of the progression during completion.

The Errors code is 211:
This Vin number is from a module taken from another BMW E60 C135xxx
The Vin number (No). that i want to program in this same module, should be C445xxx
This is a used GWS module that i bought(Gear selector Module)

Here is the UIF block read out by Winkfp after programming error

Does any experts have any experience to solve this one?

Now the KOMBI Module

This is the KOMBI module UIF block before & after programming (Instrument cluster)the Vin number that i want written is C445xxx to match the E60 i am working on:

The KOMBI6 MODULE shows that winkfp 5.3.1 programming is OK, but did not reflect that Old VIN was changed to New VIN of C445948.

Can anyone tell why the VIN is not changed?

Because you cannot change VIN in kombi with winkfp.

You can try tool32.

Tool32 cannot change vin in kombi via obd. its hardcoded. need eprom reader or very good skills.

Coding in ESYS should sort vin in gws

Just FYI ESYS will not work on E60 chassis, try it with WinKfp add VIN from that vehicle and try to flash it once more.
