Hi,

I am trying to install a new LAN5910WR in a Dacia Sandero 3, which needs to be configured in order to boot propperly but I don´t know how to obtain or calculate those tuning values.

After some searching and testings I managed to access the Navigation ULC_4.5 ecu with dtt4ll, an ecu DTT2000 DB and an Obdlikn SX adapter, being able to read and write simple and long values without problem (bypassing the SGW too). If I don´t find the process in this forum I will explain how to get to that point, since I don't seem to get to see it replicated anywhere.

Does anyone know how to obtain them (by an LGU or some default config in any software) or has a similar unit to share a dump of the ecu file?

I think I collected this info from a couple different forums, but don't seems like I can find where it was.

Of course, the official and "correct" way is to buy a renault token and use the swg utility to deactivate it, so this method is unoficial and may harm your car (discussed later, but I'm not an expert at that system). That said, in the sandero 3 at least, the SWG is located behind and above the fusebox, almost at the instrument panel height, behind the steering wheel.

Here I include a picture where you can identify the connector, being it the white one at the back (not the black with red and yellow cables, wich is at medium distance to the swg one. It may be tricky to find and get to it, since it can only be seen at a certain angle, its a very narroy space and you will have to lay down on the driver floor to see it (or dismantle all the front panel,including the steering wheel). Be careful not to scratch your arms trying to reach it.

If you get on the internet a bypass cable like the autel one (now beeing selled even at amazon) you can connect directly from an ODB2 connector to the can lines, just make sure to get the ones with a connector matching the number of pins of your car cable (in this Sandero 3 it was 32 pins, guess it will be the same on any car of the same family).

There is some controversy if like this you can brick your car, but this one works perfectly after every bypass. All said, in my experience if you turn on the ignition with the swg bypaassed the next time you start the engine the instrument panel shows an antipolution error. It disapears after a couple engine starts, but I wouldn't risk the mistake of letting the ignition or even the engine to turn on while bypassed tho, just in case I was lucky.
