Beemerboy, you should be working for them buddy. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to fix all their errors and stop this "official software" spamming smile

If you not have ispi system online with real bmw account. you can not download maps, this can´t be usefull for you.
offline, only can import map or GB from DVD or USB to laptop. after you can generate new DVD or USB from data stored, or send by ethernet direct to car using IStap or maybe esys... but this way is more slow than direct USB conection in globebox for update maps.

I install each new version of this allways but i never use. i should freak of Software bmw rofl

Hi,
take a look here, last post will explain how it is working.

It is usefull, especially in this "software spamming" time.
It is also dealing with SAH1 HASH values, so no broken files will be copied.
