Im not new to coding and consider myself pretty good with Ncs/Ista, ive read many threads and follow people but cant get CC working.

Vehicle is OCT 2008 E91 LCI 325i (rwd) with BASE everything, it means i got NO Cruise Control at all and "LO" cluster.

I successfully source and install an X1 ring (SZL) with matching to E91 part number, everything lever wise (signals/front/rear wipers, high beam etc) works. NO airbag errors and i did recalibrate steering wheel sensor in Ista, so the vehicle is error free with the set up.

Firstly i added $540 to test things out, and Clean .man code DSC, CAS & Kombi, but ABSOLUTELY nothing happens when i use it (speed over 30km/h) Difference between my ori FA DSC coding and added $540 DSC coding, most likely 6 cyl versions cannot have $540 (most likely without extensive coding)

   


Then i added  $544 and code DSC/Kombi/Cas, CC start working without showing any reference in cluster.
BTW cas is different between no cc and cc options so it HAS to be coded, many controversial information on different boards, here is my differences:

   

EDIT: Also i have question to all Kombi experts, you know how on 2010+ E70 X5 you can set CC with lever and it will stay at desired speed even if you CANCEL CC once, if you resume the set speed will be applied but if you cance ill one more time set speed ring will hide down below 0km/h.
I hope you guys aware of what im talking about and is there a chance to do it on E8x vehicle without that ring hiding every time im cancelling CC?

It should be $540 or $544 for CC with braking function.

Yes, sorry guys, indeed was a bit tired yesterday! Got it working but once again i have
E91 LCI with LO cluster, now i can use CC but there is no appearance on display of any sort!

So far ive tried changing few parameters in Kombi (KMBI_PL2.C08) after blank .man coding it with $544: 

TCM_ALIVE_MONITOR to AKTIV
ACC_AUSSTATTUNG (tried all 4 options): 
Wert01 - CC error all the time, cc doesnt work
W02 -  CC work without reference in cluster
W03 - ORI after blank .man - works without show
W04 - Shows error once you use CC lever, cc dont work

e70 and e8x/e9x are totally different cars. don t expect to behave the same.

for me it s clear, you have to replace the KOMBI and get a KOMBI High from a car with factory CC

I know that lots of clusters didn't show notification, but some do. I would try flashing it to newer software.

Thats what im doing next only because HI cluster dont look soo poor and looks like all business!)))
