Hi Simple, I try 2 times but still does not work. same problem... what should i do?

Can you give information on your system and what exactly were trying to do?
What is your hardware? co (AHCI or Legacy/IDE) controller set-up in the BIOS
What is your software? Windows + Application
Which version of DiagBox was installed before the update? and was it running?
As well as any other detail that may be significant..

Hello Simple, thx for that.
I just want to install db from 7.01 to 7.76.
My computer is Asus and os is winxp 32b sp3. hardware is AHCI
I install db 7.01 shared by scarymistake and updates by matrisox.
I really be crazy by it...

Don't worry, it is easy to sort out, there are two ways... I have written a manual here: http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.ph...0#pid83650

1- You can install Windows 7 or 8.1 or 10, 64bit..
a- Install a Virtual Machine (VirtualBox or VMware player, both are free)
b- Install on the Virtual Machine, install Windows XP 32 bit (it needs less resources than Windows 7)
c- Then Install DiagBox and it should be ok..

2- You can install Windows 7 or XP 32 bit directly on the computer, but you need to change the Hard Disk controller settings in the BIOS from AHCI to (Legacy or IDE), then install DiagBox..

If you have enough memory, and a good CPU (I7 or I5) I prefer the first solution.. because you have a lot more freedom.

I just want to share my experience when I was installing Diagbox

After I tried to install Diagbox with various updates more than 10 times on Windows XP Pro 32 bit with all updates (also .NET 3.5 & 4) and Java 7, and I did not manage to get past Diagbox 7.65 update. If I updated to 7.66, then Diagbox tells that there is an error and if it continues contact administrator, and I could not use Diagbox anymore.

I then tried to install Diagbox with various updates on a Windows 7 32 bits, and it worked great all the way to update 7.76 , you just have to remember to restart after each update, and then start Diagbox and let it update, and then take the next update until you have taken all the updates.

If ever you will use windows xp again for your diagbox 7.76 next time use english windows and have configure all the regional settings in english and you will smile....... Then for your diagbox change and use your preferred language............
