vw touran start difficult in hot
Hello, I have a touran 2.0 tdi, it has a hard time starting when warm. I want to update the ECU 03g906016bq/6254 and I will update it to 03g906016bq/9971.sgo.
Is it correct? I will do it with odis engin... |

RE: vw touran start difficult in hot
If the partnumber is exactly the same - you can always safely perform an update.
This will not fїж your problem, though. As this sound much more like "hardware" related than software related issue. It's either injectors, or crankshaft or camshaft position sensors. |

RE: vw touran start difficult in hot
as already mentioned by pupu, it doesn't seem like a software issue, more hardware side issue like internal ECU fault or high pressure pump or injectors or cam or crank. Please run a diagnostic and check live data values like cam/crank sync when it is hot and rail pressure

RE: vw touran start difficult in hot
It is a known problem with the Vag group. It is a problem of poor flow fuel in a hot engine when the vehicle has many km.
happens to the unit injector pump thanks for the answers |

RE: vw touran start difficult in hot
there are two possible problems/solutions with these engines:
1. is the mentioned lower fuel amount while starting hot engine. in this case, an update will not be the solution, someone has to apply a "hot start fїж" in flash. 2. mechanical problem, this ecu should be mounted in car with BKD engine, these are known for having сядскs in cylinder head. You would mostly recognize this problem by white cloud from exhaust after starting warm car. but new software version is in this case not a bad idea. |

RE: vw touran start difficult in hot
Indeed, with that update it has not worked. I still have the problem.
[/cita] no is comonrail is edc 16 |
