F10 retrofit seats, occupany mat problem
Is there any workaround for following problem:
Original car is F10 year model 2010
That car has occupancy mat with three wires.
I retrofitted comfort seats from 2013.
These seats work 100% except:
The occupancy mat has only two wires and is completely  different, I suppose in electronics.
Also it is connected in different pins or even in different ABG module.
is there any solution for this except change the mat for older version?

The car and seats EU or US versions, RH, LH drive? Give full information, better was, car and donor VIN-s.

Both ECE.
TIS shows that SBE (occupancy mat) is different and different wirings.
Only thing i cannot understand is that ETK claims ABG module is the same in -9/2011 cars and for all the newer ones.
To me, hard to understand.

Please give newtis links and part codes, if they have. But answer is trivial simply, if they are different, then change to suitable or code out (then also unplug wiring). From 0911 ETK show AB module with new code. realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=5D31-EUR-09-2014-F10N-BMW-530dX&diagId=65_2115
One solucion is, may be, install a newer AB module and check, is there row: New passenger mat concept or something.

Yeah, it is like I assumed, no route for this.
Pre 9/2011 mat is actually quite "intelligent" = +- and LIN bus. So there must be somekind of controller inside of it.
Post 9/2011 there is only two wires SBR +- and I assume the mat is quite stupid.
So totally different way of doing it.
So:remove mat from new seats and install mat from old seat. That's it.
Customer would like to have right solution, so no any plug in modules for this.
I only asked this if there would have been solution someone have found and share it.
