ISTA Launcher 1.50.0.1631 showing update files okay, but during install displayed files error.
1. Select OK => Close.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Re-run ISTA Launcher again.

This did not work.Loaded all files three times now from different sources.
And every time same problem, i have no idea anymore what to do.

All the files Temporary folder: "C:\ProgramData\BMW\ISPI\temp\TRIC\ISTALauncher\" will deleted and that is your issue.
All the ISTA files should be in C:\SharedStorage. if you still have error, again try the procedure I posted.

For sure all the files are in C:\temp\SharedStorage Thats the normal way, and yes the istapackages will be deleted in program data folder, i know that.On this base i tried to install as you described makes no
difference.
I tried with external ssd after that so that program data will not be deleted when you ticked it in ista launcher , but the same everytime ,the exact same error message

Problem was corrupted istapackages as bmw boss says , after download ok, after copying to ssd and other laptop
They are corrupted if you test them with winrar testroutine.
Try to solve it now

just a guess here , seen a couple time uac is turned on or not set to lowest setting causes files processing errors , maybe , or bit locker being enabled via win 11 24h2 .
