I got this device which came with 6.8 software from the seller. It worked fine Before. I borrowed it to a friend just to get it not working any more. It not recognized neither in XP nor win7. The guy said he did a hardware test using the 4.74 software,  .Now I think it might be a corrupted dump or may be not. Suspecting that I searched for the re_flash methods. Came across few solutions about that but the PCB layout and via/s are different from this one I have. I think those where for the 4.01 or 4.7 hardware. Here are some pictures of my PCB. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Ah I forgot to mention that one of the differences is the pin 55 of atmel chip connection is not as those shown in the forum |

Well seems no one came across this pcb!!
All I need to know is if its the same procedure to flash as of the other older pcb. Any help?? |

Check the soldering on mini usb port and on at88 eeprom

Did it with some trial and error. Device flashed with 4.74. Working and waiting for next time as timer kicks in.
