It works, great!

A minor issue, though: I'm using a French keyboard (it's AZERTY and not QWERTY) and ISTA doesn't recognize that. Is there a way to set it up to the system input method?
Alternatively, I'd be happy to put my hands on a french database...

Can 1 update from Rheingold 3.41 or does it have to be later version like 3.80.20 ? getting data base error check dss for error # 00046632en

Do a clean install. an follow instructions exactly as in this threat. And use not the old database from your 3.41 version but the database 3.51.1 that is in this forum as wel.

I installed hi version and works well with E70, F15 E90, E60, F10 well when I try on E53, E46 E83 I get the error attached.

What could be the problem?

If you use k+dcan cable: check pin 7 and 8 on your connector. For E53, E46 and E83 they must be connected.

These cars are also equiped with the 20 pin connector. Use that for complete acces to the car.
If you have cheap D+CAN cable (about 15 dollar) pin 7 and 8 are already connected. If you have the expensive one from "one stop electronics" (100 dollar) u have to use adapter to connect pin 7 to 8

I forgot to mention that I've never used ISPI NEXT with anyother interface apart from an ICOM.
