I put a lot of time into it and encouraged other to share, but you review the thread I posted and the size of contributions.
I believe that what I have written (in the Telecoding Thread) is most of the work, and there is a small piece (probably the code of the car etc..) to finish it.. But then, someone or some others need to put some time into it and test it, to get results.

Hi, like user ykntr on 01-03-2018, I have tried to install 8.01 from the link supplied by simple on the original post but after applying the AWRoot_v7_Conf+Ativation_v8.exe fix I get the same 'Unable to load the security file, closing' error message when starting Diagbox.
My build is a VMWare Win98 VM which has run the old standalone ServiceBox app successfully.
So my question is, is it possible to run up 8.01 version without going through the 7.xx versions as detailed in the original installation post.
I have no real need to run a specific version other than one that is reasonable recent.

@mrbeanix, the minimum recommended Windows is XP and it should be 32 bit only..
@Marianos, it looks like you are using VirtualBox, just follow the instructions carefully, especially adding the system statement. Don't forget to install .NET 3.51 and run things as Administrator.

By using the DiagBox 7.xx activation to install DiagBox 8.xx on the same computer, as described in the first post.
Hence, a successful DiagBox 7.57 installation is a prerequisite for installing DiagBox 8.xx.
