P1610&P0602 - matkahuolto - 20-04-2016

Hello,

Owner of the car had problems with it, and decided to try a different ECU. He swapped the old one, put in a different, of course it would not run, and put the old one back. Now he has the following fault codes as active,

P1610 - Immobilizer function not programmed
P0602 - Control module programming error

He had some guy try it with opcom 08/2010 chinaclone, and said that programming the unit is not possible with that hardware.

Is rectifying the problem a job for a tech2 or just a better opcom? Or is it even possible to program these out, given if there is not anything wrong with the car itself? I know the owner, and i believe him that these were not present before.

Car is -99 Astra F, with 1.6L X16XEL engine.

You could try to reset the ECU and Immo and try to reprogram the ECU.

This issue is a bit hard for me, as my friend who's having these problems lives 300 miles from me, and I tried to fix it with his friends op-com with teamviewer and phone.

Under ECU, the programming tab is greyed out, i havent used this op-com, but i would think the reset should be under there. Has anyone tried to do this to the car in question with op-com, so i would know is the clone's software able to do this?

You must resynchronize Immo and ECU. You must to know a pin prior to do something. You can get the pin from Opel dealer, or to read it from Immo by directly connecting to its MCU
