E65 745i 2002 alternator problem? - jujooo - 14-04-2017

I had problems with my alternator and after rebuilding the alternator the car wont recognize it. It still charges but i get error message Alternator Fault. The alternator is Bosch 12317526286 water cooled. All they did is replace the voltage regulator. Original voltage regularot was Bosch F 00M 255 207 and the replacement one is Mobiletron VR-B5204. Does the car need some sort of coding for the replacement? It seem like there is no communication between the alternator and DME. I get Error Code 28D7 "Alternator Communication ".

Is charging work normally? couse i seen a lot of cars with this error and ofcourse after rebuilding it and they worked normally, make sure also if your battery registered to system with right battery capacity

I have replaced the battery too. Bought an 90AH AGM battery and registered with ISTA. Car now works with unpluged cable that goes to the voltage regulator( i think it is BSD line) there is no error message and it is charging 14V but the problem is that AGM battery need different charging pattern. I think DME comunicates with the alternator over this BSD line and it can make the alternator stop charging the battery completely. This is because it is bad for the AGM batteries to be overcharged. The point is that car charges AGM batteries differently than normal battery and with no BSD communication this is not possible. So with unpluged BSD i get no error message and car charges around 14V but it doesn't charge the battery with AGM pattern. I need to know if there is a way to fix this BSD line communication.
