Hey,
They really dont have a wifi! The wifi model is about 900$.
The sellers doesent know usually anything about it, theyve just copied the
advert somewhere. If you dont use Ista/P, you might just cope with 350$ unit.

Is there any point/reason to upgrade icom 1 to icom 2 I ask because my icom 1 works very well, in fact it never let me down

Icom 1 have cooling issue, so when programming cars it warming quite hot(fan is too small/small air flow) and can fail and cause problems. If you can keep it cold some how, no need change.

It think that this is BS produced by ICOM sellers, who want to sell A2 units for people who already have the A1. I have had A1 for over a year now, I have flashed
numerous cars from E36 to F30 with it, and I have had zero issues. A1 Heat sink is bigger and has more grooves (surface area) than A2 heat sink, and there still is the fan that is not present on A2. I bought this ICOM from Yoho Technology, and I can recommend it for others too.
