You must change dash + cas.
digiprog can change dash (but you probably need to replace the 35080 chip).
you can buy R260 (it's better than R270) to change cas

Hi. Thanks for the reply.
I used fvdi to change CAS2.
Now I don't have a blank 35080 chip.
Is R270 reliable for changing km in dash 35080 chip?
I can buy R270 for use of 35080 in dash only. But is it reliable for this job ?

Hello,
I have tested to change the kilometers on the dash on VW golf IV tdi 2000 with my digiprog3 clone v4.94 by obd. But whitout any results.
He dont read me the kilometers, he give me an "?". Anyway, I write the new kilometeres, and he say me test 0, test 1 etc.., and "wegfahrspeere kodieren 0x00" (immo code).
Does someone know what I have to do here??
I pressed "X", and I have waited so much time, so i've cut the digiprog alimentation.
The kilometers on the dashboard displayed the old. But all is ok with the dashboard, everything works well
.Of course, in the process, the ingnition was on!

Do ezs. Itll make it to 1.6m and itll ask for new mileage. It breaks the sync so you can do the dash on its own from now on. It works fine for me

You have to to :
-car-merc-w204-tacho, and:
-car-merc-w204-ezs
but i'm not sure what the correct order is.
if it jumps back after second option, I do the first option again. then i always works.
for example:
-car-merc-w204-tacho
-car-merc-w204-ezs
-car-merc-w204-tacho
but if you have the facelift model (2011-2014), then maybe it doesnt work because it might have more places where it storage mileage. I had this with a w212 model, changed the dash+ezs, but still old mileage came back. apparently it has 2 storage locations extra, for example it remembers the mileage before your last drive. (but then it jumps back to for example 30km earlier, not exactly the same mileage)
i think this could be changed anyway, but can't remember how..

yes you need to do dash also 35080v6 inside
i didn t have lucky with r270(my clone) i need to put new chip in dash (35080v6)
it is not problem to read and save, problem is to erase and write
